Corporate website
The public MELVO website is delivered as static pages and does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. The protected CMS admin uses Cloudflare Access authentication cookies when an authorised editor signs in. Cloudflare may set security or routing cookies outside the application’s control.
Recipes
Recipes uses the HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict recipes_session cookie to keep a signed account session. The configured lifetime is 30 days. The product also stores user preferences such as filters, language and servings in browser storage where the interface needs them; these values stay on the device and are not advertising trackers.
Recipe thumbnails are stored in Cloudflare R2. Import, AI and nutrition requests are sent only when the user starts those features.
Mapper
Mapper uses HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict mapper_owner_access and mapper_shared_access cookies for board access. They are scoped to the board API and expire according to the owner or shared-access lifetime. Mapper also stores a device identifier, device name, recent boards, theme and scroll/map preferences in local or session storage; these support the app experience and are not used as advertising trackers.
Map tiles, geocoding and routing can create requests to the configured OpenStreetMap/CARTO, Nominatim and routing services.
Consent and your choices
Strictly necessary security, authentication and preference technologies may be used without consent where the law permits. Optional analytics, advertising or tracking technologies are not enabled by this draft.
You can clear browser cookies and storage in your browser settings. Clearing essential session data signs you out or removes local preferences. If optional technologies are introduced, the final policy and consent interface will explain each purpose, provider, duration and withdrawal method without blocking access when consent is refused.
